Wildflower Hall: It is a huge mansion, surrounded by pine trees.From here one can have a fine view back to Shimla,mountain peaks and Badrinath ranges Kufri: This is the best known ski resort in Himachal Pradesh. Mashobra: This picnic spot has pleasant forest walks. Summer Hill : There are pleasant, shady walks in this Shimla suburb on the Shimla to Kalka railway line. It is 5 km from Shimla. Other Activities : In winter there is ice skating on the rink on the north side of the ridge, just down below ANZ Grindlays Bank. On The Mall, in the air of the Indian Coffee House, there are two billiards halls.



There are number of craft shops along the road near the Hotel Diplomat. Woodcarvings are the main item on sale.
