Zulfi catapulted to fame after winning the Gladrags Manhunt contest way back in 1997 and since then there was no looking back. He became the hot favourite of all the leading designers and assignments came pouring in. His wistful, sensuous eyes, finely chiselled face and a well-sculpted body won him many campaigns apart from numerous music videos.

Zulfi has worked with the best of designers in the country, including Hemant Trevedi and Shahab Durazi. Shifting base to Mumbai from Bangalore helped him do even better in modeling. Best of his works include commercials for Trigger jeans (shot in Paris), Provogue and Tata Indica. His presence in BSC Suitings commercial makes Sonali Bendre blush as much as the audiences sigh. He had just participated in The Lakme India Fashion Show 2002 for a host of fashion designers including Ritu Kumar, Tarun Tahiliani, Aki Narula, Rohit Bal, Rocky S, J J Vallaya and Monisha Bajaj.

Zulfi has become hot property not just on the ramp but also with cine-goers. He already has one South Indian movie to his credit and there is a Hindi release lined up. He dreams of making it big in Hollywood some day.
