Waluscha Sousa, phonetically derived means "lady of the woods", is part-German
and part-Goan. She auditioned to, "launch Goan beauty into the fashion world by
Wendell Rodricks and Hemant Trevedi." And from that moment onwards there was no
looking back. She is the reigning queen of the Lakme and MTV Model Mission Contest,
and more recently, the Kingfisher Model of the Year. Her smile is her asset and
she has a proverbial million-dollar smile. She is a very down to earth girl, simple
and very confident. She is studying psychology at St. Xavier's, Mumbai and wants
to take up clinical psychology after graduation. Though she has got a few offers
from bollywood but claims that this is not the right moment to jump into films
and has a long way to go in the fashion world. |
