Tulip Joshi is hot and happening - the new Smirnoff girl. Print ads to TV commercials - she's done it all. She is an exotic product of a Gujarati father and a Lebanese mother.

"What I like best is that I look different in each ads", says this food science graduate. Tulip likes doing ad films but doesn't see herself dancing to bhanngra-pop in music videos.

Modelling was never a career choice for her until she participated in Femina Miss India. Tulip meant to pursue academics, but the glamour of her new profession sank her enthusaisam about chemistry. The only chemistry in her life seems to be now her equation with the camera.

What inspired you to come into modelling?
I started off with Femina Miss India contest where they groomed me to be a well polished model and that also gave me a lot of confidence and made me realise that I have the potential to become a model.

Models are always supposed to be dieting. Doesn't severe dieting affect your health?
I am always on a well-balanced diet and I am never starving.

I am a mixed blood, half gujarati and half lebanese
