Riya Sen, granddaughter of legendary film actress Suchitra Sen and daughter of Moon Moon Sen has taken the modelling world by storm by her innocent and charming features. Riya has also replaced Lisa ray as the Lakme Girl.

Riya, who’s only a little more than five feet tall, first blew into the news when she signed on for a small role in Kailash Surendranath’s Love You Hamesha, four years ago, at the age of 15. Immediately, the media went wild over her typical Bengali features: almond eyes, long, lustrous black hair, and the grace that she’s inherited from her legendary grandmother, Suchitra Sen.

Fame came her way with the Nirma Limefresh ad (shot in the clean clear Mauritiuan waters) and several music videos, including one for Falguni Pathak, one for Jagjit Singh and Asha Bhosle and one for Sonu Nigam. There were also two low-profile Tamil films, Taj Mahal and Good Luck. Her love life is also going strong with Gladrags hunk John Abraham.
