Priyanka Chopra was born on 18th July 1982 to Capt. Dr. Ashok Chopra & Dr. Madhu Chopra in the family of doctors. She is called Sunshine & Mimi by her family and friends. She was a resident student of La Martiniere Girls College in Lucknow and studied for a short while at Maria Goretti College in Bareilly. She completed her class 10th from Boston USA. Priyanka was persuaded by her friends to take part in the Miss Bareilly contest and from there she went on to win Fa Femina India-World 2000 title. Life hasn't been the same ever since. Fashion shows, modelling and music videos (she featured in the video version of Daler Mehndi's latest album) and film schedules have kept her busy ever since. She says that modelling is what she will always love doing and entering bollywood doesn't mean that she will give up modelling.
