Poonam has been walking the ramps and has done major modelling assignments for Designers like Ritu Kumar, Mona Pali, Payal Jain, J J Vallaya etc. Poonam Nath is very much content walking the ramp and doing modelling assignments and says that it's too early for her to enter the film world. Poonam is a very straight-forward girl and believes that to be successful you have to give your best and complete dedication.

Poonam was one of the 48 models who were chosen to participate and walk the ramp at Lakme India fashion week 2002 for a host of fashion designers including Ritu Kumar, Tarun Tahiliani, Aki Narula, Rocky S, J J Vallaya and Monisha Bajaj.
