You can't have missed his sweet, loving and sincere face in a number of ads. You have seen him in the ads which include Cadbury´s Perk, Red Label Tea, Breeze Soap, Vaseline Lip Guard, Ariel, Bharati Telecom, ICICI, Nature Fresh Oil, Bakeman Cookies, Uncle Chips etc. One of Khalid´s favourite ads is the one for Cadbury Perk with Priety Zinta who is now a top bollywood actress.

Khalid basically concentrates on ad campaigns and did very few ramp modeling. He did a bit of ramp when Lubna Adams was around. But being around the ramp scene means being more of a public relations person. And he admits to not being good at self-promotion. "On the other hand, working in ad films depends more on talent, the amount of work one gets, face...in that order of preference." Hence, he feels comfortable with ad films. That´s why instead of ramp work he decided to take his work in TV commercials and print ads more seriously. "Ads give one an opportunity to act in front of the camera. And people know and respect you because of that."

His future plans include acting in theatre. Films and TV are also on his agenda.
