100 GRAMS FINELY CHOPPED MIXED BOILED
VEGETABLES (FRENCH BEANS, CARROTS, CAULIFLOWER)
1/2 TEASPOON SUGAR
1 TABLESPOON OIL
SALT TO TASTE
TO BE GROUND INTO A PASTE
1 LARGE ONION
1 TABLESPOON CORIANDER SEEDS
1 TABLESPOON CUMIN SEEDS
1 TABLESPOON KHUS-KHUS
2 TEASPOONS ANISEED
25MM. PIECE GINGER
2 GREEN CHILLIES
3 CARDAMOMS
3 CLOVES
3 STICKS CINNAMON
ACCOMPANIMENT
PLAIN PARATHAS


Preparation :
Chop the tomatoes. Add 1 1/2 teacups of water and cook until soft. Pass through a sieve to make a tomato puree. Heat the oil and fry the paste for2 to 3 minutes. Add the tomato puree, vegetables, sugar and salt.
