MIXED DALS [Calorie Count: 60]


Ingredients:


CUP TUVAR DAL
CUP MOONG DAL
CUP CHANA DAL
CUP MASOOR DAL (OPTIONAL)
CUP URAD DAL
2 CUPS CHOPPED SPINACH LEAVES
CUP CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES
1 CUP SLICED ONIONS
1 TSP GRATED GINGER
1 TSP GREEN CHILLI PASTE
1 CUP CHOPPED TOMATOES
2 TBSPS OIL
1 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
1 TSP CORIANDER POWDER
1 TSP CUMIN POWDER
1 TSP GARAM MASALA POWDER
SALT TO TASTE


Preparation :
Clean and wash all the dals. Pressure cook in 3- cups water with salt, turmeric powder and washed spinach. Cook for 5 minutes adter the whistle. Heat the oil, fry the onions till light brown in colour. Add the ginger, tomatoes and all the drymasalas. Add the green chillies and coriander leaves. Add the dals to the above mixture. Cook till the required thickness is reached. Serve hot.
