FULL PROTEIN ROTI [Calorie Count: 145]


Ingredients:


1 CUP WHEAT FLOUR
CUP SOYABEAN FLOUR
1 CUP GRAM FLOUR
CUP GRATED CARROT
CUP SPROUTED MOONG
2 TBSPS FINELY CHOPPED SPRING ONION
1 TBSP GRATED ONION
1 TBSP GREEN CHILLIES
CUP THYMOL SEEDS
CUP GRATED COCONUT
2 TBSPS OIL
CUP CURD
SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE


Preparation :
Roast the wheat flour, soya flour and gram flour for five minutes, stirring continuously. Cool and add salt to taste. Knead into a soft dough with warm curd. Keep aside for half an hour. Squeeze out the water from the onion and mix all the fillingingredients along with the onion. Make round balls out of the dough. Flatten a ball slightly and fill it with 2 tbsps of the filling. Close it, keeping the filling in the centre. Repeat with the remaining balls and stuffing. Roll out each, dustedwith flour, into a chappati. Cook each roti on a hot tawa (griddle) on a medium flame till brown. Serve hot, applying a little butter before serving.
