CLEAR VEGETABLE BROTH [Calorie Count: 77]
(preparation time: 10 minutes, cooking times: 25 minutes, makes 4 cups.)

Ingredients:


2 THICK PIECES CELERY
1 LARGE CARROT
1 ONION
2 TABLESPOONS CHOPPED PARSLEY
1 BAY LEAF
TEACUPS WATER
TEASPOON MARMITE
2 TEASPOONS BUTTER OR OIL
SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE


Preparation :
Chop the celery and carrot finely. Cut the onion into rings. Heat the butter, add the bay leaf and onion and cook for 1 minute. Add the vegetables and cook again for 3 to 4 minutes. Add the water and boil for 15 to 20 minutes. Add the chopped parsley,marmite and salt and pepper.
