Amitabh-Abhishek together again!!

Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan have had a 100% success ratio when starring in the same movie. Bunty Aur Babli and Sarkar were this year's top grosser at the box-office and it is common knowledge that Karan Johar's latest offering Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna is also going to star both of them. But what people don't know is that the real life father and son will also play reel life father and son in this film as well after Sarkar. And knowing Karan, this film will be magnanimous as well. The film also stars Shahrukh Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Preity Zinta and Arjun Rampal.

Esha Deol seems to have developed quite a reputation for slapping people! Few months back the actress had slapped a youngster at the film premier of Dus, when he misbehaved with her. Now it has been reported that, Esha has slapped actress Amrita Rao who stars with her in Pyaare Mohan. Apparently, Amrita abused Esha in front of her director and cameraman, which instigated Esha to slap her. She is not apologetic about this deed as she felt that Amrita deserved it. She also added that all is well between them now and that Amrita has aapologised to her about her behaviour. However, sources close to Amrita deny the incident.

Kareena rubbishes rumour about Hollywood film!!

A buzz was doing the rounds that Kareena Kapoor has signed a Hollywood film titled Gandhi Park with actor Jared Leto to be directed by Kolata Tom George. However, the actress has trashed these reports. "All rubbish! I did not make any commitment for a Hollywood film", clarified Kareena. The actress herself was surprised when she first heard the news. She maintains that she has got good roles to play in India and does not want to divert her attention. Kareena is currently focusing on Vishal Bahradwaj's Othello with Ajay Devgan and is looking forward to her next release Dosti with Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol and Lara Dutta.

Fardeen's Wedding Updates!!

Just a few days remain when actor Fardeen Khan will no longer be single. Less than a month after cousin Zayed Khan's marriage, it is Fardeen's turn to tie the knot. Fardeen will marry his longtime girlfriend Natasha Madhvani daughter of yesteryear actress Mumtaz and UK-based businessman Mayur Madhvani in a lavish wedding ceremony on December 16 at the posh J W Marriot Hotel in Mumbai. The celebrations will begin on December 13, with Sangeet and Mehendi ceremonies. A host of celebrities from Bollywood would attend the events. Fardeen's mother Sundari will give her personal touch to Natasha's trousseau. It's learnt that Natasha's wedding outfit will be an ethnic ensemble in traditional shades of red and gold. On the other hand, her dress for the reception will be an Indo-Western outfit. Ace designer Tarun Tahiliani is learnt to have designed Natasha's mehendi and sangeet night outfits. Fardeen's trousseau will be designed by his personal designer, Shaahid Amir. Invitations to the wedding have already been sent. Just a few days remain for the shehnais to start playing.

Ramgopal Varma commenced filming his next project SHABRI, directed by Lalit Marathe, from December 1 onwards. The film is about Shabri [played by Ishaa Koppikar] who runs a flour mill to make ends meet. The film is about how she becomes a gangster following a chain of events that changes her life. Shot in real locations across Mumbai, the film takes a peep into the matka gambling dens and the everyday lives of those living on the edge. SHABRI is slated for release in mid-2006.

After Parineeta and Paheli, it is time for Chetan Bhagat's latest novel 'A Night In The Call Center' to be transformed into celluloid. Rohan Sippy, whose Bluffmaster is all ready for release has bought the rights of the film. Word has it that he is going to approach Abhishek Bachchan for the lead role in the film but nothing is confirmed yet. Apart from Sippy, music director turned film director Vishal Bharadwaj is currently making the film version of Shakespeare's 'Othello'. Incidentally, Bharadwaj had also made 'Maqbool', inspired from Shakespeare's MacBeth.
