Producer: Balabhai
Director: Aaditya Datt
Music: Himesh Reshammiya
Cast: Emraan Hashmi, Tanushree Datta, Sonu Sood

Karan (Sonu Sood) is a shy and kind-hearted student. He shares a close friendship with Sneha (Tanushree Datta). In fact he's secretly fallen in love with the pretty girl, but lacks the courage to admit his true feelings. Enter Vicky (Emraan Hashmi) who is Karan's childhood buddy. Vicky is confident and full of life. He also falls in love with Sneha, but he doesn't hesitate to express his feelings and they start a relationship, leaving Karan somewhat heartbroken.

However every love triangle needs a twist, and Aashiq Banaya Aapne is no exception. Karan learns that Vicky is just playing with Sneha's emotions. Karan being a true friend warns Sneha that Vicky is a selfish playboy, who can't withstand a girl more than a few months. Sneha being blind in love ignores him but one day she finds Vicky in bed with another woman. She decides to end their relationship, but Vicky is in no mood to let her go so easily and he starts harassing her.

One day police arrest Vicky for drug possession. This is when Karan finally proposes Sneha and asks her to marry him. On their engagement night Vicky comes there. Sneha asks him to go away from her life, but Vicky has something to tell her: That is the reason why he is so possessive of her even after being caught red-handed.

Who will Sneha choose in the end? The man she once loved or the one who always stood by her? Are Vicky's intentions honest this time round? Will Karan allow Sneha to walk out of his life again? Why is Vicky so possessive of her even after being caught red-handed?

The story is as old as the hills and leaves you totally untouched. Aaditya Datt's direction is as poor as his script. The film lacks substance and logic. Performance wise Emraan Hashmi is average. The audience have seen him only in the role of a Casanova, therefore this film offers nothing new and he too has nothing new to offer to the audience. Sonu Sood doesn't impress at all. First and foremost such kind of roles dont suit him and he should refrain from doing them. Tanushree Dutta has the sex-appeal and looks natural before the camera but acting wise she has a long way to go.

Himesh Reshammiya's music is foot-tapping and racy. Cinematography is quite okay. Overall, the film will not click with the masses so the advisable thing to do is stay put at home.
