Cast: Abhishek Bachchan, Bumika Chawla, Mahesh Manjrekar, Ayesha Jhulka and Mukesh Rishi
Music: Himesh Reshammiya
Siddharth aka Siddhu [Abhishek Bachchan] comes to Delhi for further studies. He spots the beautiful Jhanavi [Bhoomika Chawla] and is attracted to her instantaneously. But little does he know that he has invited trouble in the form of over-possessive brother Ganpat (Mahesh Manjrekar) who has a record of sorts in chopping and killing those who even attempt to look at his sister. Ganpat leaves no stone unturned to make life hell for Siddharth. Finally, Siddharth devises a foolproof way to combat the devious Ganpat. Remake of the Tamil hit RUN [Madhavan, Meera Jasmine], the Hindi adaptation is dull, boring and doesn`t create any kind of uniqueness and excitment in the film. The problem with RUN is that the viewer can actually predict what`s going to happen next. Director Jeeva is just not able to get the viewer hooked on to the film and has failed miserably to entertain the viewers. Performance-wise Abhishek has does a good job. Bhumika Chawla has no scope to display her histrionics. Himesh Reshammiya's music is good. On the whole Run is the typical run-of-the-mill movie not worth wasting time and money.
