is a Commerce graduate. Came into the limelight when she won the
Famous Ford Supermodels Contest at the age of 17. She was coaxed
into participating for the zonal rounds by a friend.
She also won the Tulips Miss Super Vivacious in the same contest.
Spotted by the world famous photographer, Steven Mizhel, she featured
in Vogue magazine. But gave it up for family in India
She feels her eyes are her strong feature. After winning over
people's hearts through modeling and advertisements, she did the
famous video Tu Meri Mehbooba for Sonu Nigam's album, Kismat.
Her debut role in Ajnabee has won her much praise and the chilling
'Raaz' proved to be a boon for Bipasha. Bipasha Basu dared to
do something unconventional first in Raaz and then in Jism. Raaz
was the biggest hit of 2002. It also happened to be the first
film to be such major hit. Jism is also first film of 2003 that
happens to be a hit. Bipasha is flooded with interesting roles
with big banners and is definitely hear to stay.
